What are the thermal and dishwasher limits of 3D Royal Lab's PETG and ABS components?

Our standard functional hardware (including Ninja Slushi and Ninja CREAMi accessories) is manufactured from engineering-grade PETG, which offers a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 75°C–80°C and superior chemical resistance compared to standard PLA (Tg ~55°C). For prolonged high-temperature dishwasher sanitize cycles or under-bonnet enclosures exceeding 75°C, we recommend hand-washing in warm soapy water (<60°C) or selecting our ABS / ASA high-temp polymer option (Tg 95°C–105°C) via the custom material selector on the product page.

Every standard catalog product is sliced with calibrated perimeter walls (minimum 3–4 perimeters) and structural gyroid infill tailored to mechanical load. When you select custom dimensions, infill densities, or polymers via our on-page Extra Product Options configurator—or submit a .STEP, .IGES, or .STL file for custom prototyping—your part enters our Wodonga production queue, undergoes automated dimensional verification (±0.15mm typical XY tolerance), and is inspected before packing.

All orders are manufactured and packed at our regional facility in Wodonga, Victoria (3690). Our checkout integrates directly with the live Australia Post PRO API, calculating exact Parcel Post and Express Post rates based on volumetric weight and your delivery postcode. In-stock functional hardware dispatches within 1–2 business days, while custom-configured production runs dispatch within 2–4 business days with full Australia Post tracking.

Standard PLA degrades, warps, and becomes brittle when exposed to Australian UV radiation and summer bin temperatures exceeding 50°C. By manufacturing outdoor assemblies like BinGlow Pro and mechanical brackets in UV-stabilized PETG, ASA/ABS, and impact-absorbing TPU-95A, our parts maintain structural integrity and weather resistance year-round.
